Reiki is a stress reduction and healing technique which originated in Japan. The word 'Reiki' means 'Universal Life Force Energy' and is used to restore equilibrium in the body's energy centres, putting the body into a state of self healing.
The ability to channel Reiki is not something that can be learnt from a book, but through a series of attunements and practical training.
Here at Chamomile we provide Traditional Usui Reiki of all levels in small groups of no more than 6 students. We provide comprehensive course manuals with each level, CD's to practise with, and a certificate of completion.
The Reiki system is divided into 4 building blocks or 'degrees':
Reiki I (1st Degree) allows you to use Reiki for self-treatment and on friends and family.
Reiki II (2nd Degree) is Practitioner level and allows students to deepen their knowledge therough the use of sacred symbols.
Reiki IIIa (Advanced Reiki Training) allows students to become Reiki 'Masters' and use further sacred symbols.
Reiki IIIb (Teacher Training) provides the necessary tools and training to teach and attune others to Reiki.
